Bilsdon Park, the home Hessle Rangers are building

Back Hessle Rangers

Every donation helps a 50-year community club keep kids playing and finish our clubhouse at Bilsdon Park.

Donate

The quickest way to help is through our JustGiving crowdfunder. Give whatever you can, large or small. Every penny goes towards finishing and fitting out the clubhouse, and it all adds up.

Ways to support the club

Money helps, and so does time. Here is everything you can do.

  • Make a donation

A one-off or regular gift through our JustGiving crowdfunder goes straight into the clubhouse project.

  • Sponsor a brick

Put your name, or a tribute to someone, into the fabric of the new clubhouse. Get in touch and we will explain how it works.

  • Volunteer

We are run entirely by volunteers and we always need coaches, helpers and committee members. No experience needed, just a bit of time.

  • Come to a fundraiser

We run an annual tournament, a Christmas party and raffle, and sponsored events through the year. Turning up and joining in raises real money.

  • Sponsor as a business

Local businesses can reach our teams and families through shirt, pitch-side and clubhouse packages. See the sponsors page.

  • Spread the word

Share our crowdfunder with friends, family and any business that might be able to help. It costs nothing and makes a difference.

Where your money goes

We are a Community Interest Company, which means we are not for profit by definition. No one is paid a salary. The club runs at break even most years, and we charge exactly what we need to put football on for our junior and senior players.

When members pay subs into their team, that money is split roughly 50/50 between the team and the club. Teams use their half mainly for referees, tournament entry, training equipment and end-of-season presentations. The club uses its half for the things every team relies on: pitch hire away from Bilsdon Park, pitch maintenance, line paint, electricity and water, insurance, league and registration fees, coaching, safeguarding, first aid and DBS courses, goals, nets, respect barriers and the consumables that keep the place running.

Extra income comes from grants, the matchday kitchen, and our fundraising events. Money raised at the annual tournament, the Christmas party and the raffle is currently set aside for the Bilsdon Park clubhouse. We operate as a club, not a collection of individuals, and every contribution, in cash or in time, is valued.

What your support builds

Two things every donation feeds into.

  • The clubhouse

    The clubhouse

We are building our own clubhouse at Bilsdon Park, with changing rooms, showers, a club room and a kitchen. See the clubhouse project and the build week by week.

  • Business sponsorship

If you run a business, sponsoring the club puts your brand in front of our teams and families while backing a community asset. See the packages.
